Andi Rugg is a digital native with experience across multiple industries and functions including media, health care, financial services, software programming, product management, and compensation management. She has deep expertise in strategy development and execution, compensation, and HR initiatives.
Andi is an accomplished senior executive and independent director with nearly 20 years of business and philanthropic experience and demonstrated success achieving results. She is a pragmatic and collaborative leader, adept at bringing people together to solve complex problems.
Andi’s experience includes creating and executing innovation strategies. During the early days of the COVID pandemic, she launched a cost neutral public/private partnership to source PPE for Colorado organizations and grew the business to $5M in less than 5 months. As a leader at American Express, Andi launched a new B2B product for small business customers which increased transaction volumes by over $500m in the first year of the program; managed a suite of products with $30m+ investment to create global consistency, improve customer satisfaction and deliver increased revenue; and finally, created the business case and implementation plan to triple the size of a client facing organization resulting in multi-million dollar OPEX investment and double digit revenue growth.
Andi’s experience spans both corporate and philanthropic environments. While focused on systemic change in the workforce space, Andi was part of the leadership team which secured a $26M grant, the largest ever given by Microsoft Philanthropies.
While obtaining her MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management, Andi learned the fundamentals of business, the prerequisites for innovation, and the importance of having a diversity of perspectives.
