Stephanie Holko

"Stephanie is a Woman of Steel - what I mean is she works in the steel industry in manufacturing and she is passionate about it. Stephanie has managed to catapult her desire to find and fund solutions in the steel industry into an award-winning career.

Recently, she translated innovation opportunities to private and government entities and convinced them to invest $14M in collaborative projects by creating a successful Supercluster Application for Federal Government funding. Stephanie led the collaborations between six industry partners, two universities and other SME's, to get the $14M funding from the government. She balanced partner business interests, complimentary specialties, intellectual property negotiations and government requirements and brought in $3.5M additional private company investment. She is a woman on a mission who knows how to get people to collaborate.

I am so impressed with Stephanie's vision of utilizing new technologies and innovations in steel manufacturing to bring the steel industry into the future. She can clearly see that this is important, that there is a way to get there and she is leading the charge.

I believe Stephanie Holko’s leadership experience in the steel industry, along with her manufacturing and digitalization experience and public/private business development success qualify her to serve on a public board in the resource, energy, manufacturing or technology industries."
