Sabrina Dias

"Let me tell you about Sabrina and why I believe she is an excellent board candidate. I met Sabrina through one of her male colleagues who recommended her to the course because he knew she was a great board candidate. I was so impressed with all that Sabrina had accomplished and her success in the mining sector and I knew he was right.

One thing that stuck out for me when I met Sabrina and got to know her better, is that she is a Ceramic Engineer. I wondered why Ceramic? She told me that she dreamed of working for NASA someday and becoming an astronaut. Well, her life took a lot of turns, like most of our lives do, and she ended up in mining. She found her passion there and has built an impressive career.

Sabrina is a highly experienced expert in sustainability and loves the mining industry. So much so, that she built a successful business which provides services to major mining companies around the world. Her first book "Integrating Sustainability into Major Projects" is being released in March 2020 and she definitely knows this space well.

Sabrina Dias’s extensive sustainability and ESG leadership and international experience qualify her to serve on a public board, including Security, Sustainability, HSE committees."
