Trace Arlaud has 26 years of International Mining Industry Experience in operations, consulting and EPCM project management at Regional and Global Director Level. She has experience through all mine phases. Her extensive technical experience qualifies her to serve on the board of a mining company.

ACE LLC Announces the board appointment of Trace Arlaud, CDI.D, to IMDEX
Leading global Mining-Tech company, Imdex Limited (IMDEX or the Company), today announced the appointment of Tracey Arlaud as a Non-Executive Director of the Company’s Board, effective immediately.
Ms Arlaud has critical skills in mining engineering, geology and geophysics, together with broad international experience. Based in Colorado, USA, she will contribute significantly to the governance of IMDEX given the Company’s growing presence and prospects within that region. Similarly, her expertise in all mining methods across a broad spectrum of commodities will benefit IMDEX’s growth strategy – particularly expansion into mining and production. Ms Arlaud brings first-hand experience in dealing with resource companies and service providers to address some of the challenges IMDEX’s solutions seek to solve.
Relevant Experience
Ms Arlaud has extensive experience in operations and as a consultant within key mining regions of the world including: Africa; the Americas; Europe; and Oceania. Her strengths encompass all aspects of mining engineering, procurement and construction management, technical and feasibility studies and financial modelling.
Since 2019, Ms Arlaud has been Chief Executive Officer – Mining Specialist at IMB, Inc, Frisco in Colorado, USA. Prior to this role she was Regional Director Mining for the US and Western Canada/Mass Mining Lead (Globally).
Select career highlights include:
More than seven years working with Hatch Associates Inc, opening several Mining & Mineral Processing Offices in the USA.;
Developing and implementing new techniques in block caving, resulting in improved safety, operating costs and productivity. These new techniques are now accepted by the mining industry as best practice;
Designing and managing a successful underground electronic blast, which at the time was the largest in the world;
Introducing single drawbell blasting into block cave mining. This practice is now considered an industry standard; and
Leading a mine rescue team and mine recovery following a major mining disaster.
Professional Qualifications
Ms Arlaud holds a Masters of Mining Engineering from Federation University Australia1; a Bachelor of Science with Honours (Geology / Geophysics) from La Trobe University in Victoria, Australia; and a Graduate Diploma Mining (Mining / Engineering) from Federation University Australia.
She has Corporate Directors International Certification and is a registered member of the Society for Mining Metallurgy and Exploration.
Ms Arlaud is a Non-Executive Director at Global Atomic Corporation.
