Lauren Evans, CDI.D, Appointed To Degenkolb Engineers Board Of Directors

ACE LLC Announces the board appointment of Lauren Evans, CDI.D, to Degenkolb Engineers, a private engineering firm.
Degenkolb Engineers, headquartered in San Francisco, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Lauren Evans as an external director. Founded in 1940, Degenkolb specializes in structural engineering, seismic rehabilitation, seismic upgrades, forensics engineering, construction means and methods engineering, and structural peer review. Degenkolb’s 200+ employees operate from offices in San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, and Seattle. Ms. Evans joins eight other directors in the governance and oversight of Degenkolb Engineers.
With 38 years in the industry, Ms. Evans brings over 27 years of experience on a private corporate board as chair and CEO. Additionally, she has over 16 years of experience on three trade association and two non-profit boards and served on two governor-appointed state commissions. She served as Chairperson of these boards and commissions. She is the founder and CEO of Pinyon Environmental, headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado, building the company to 70 employees and $10M in annual revenue. During her tenure, the company has completed over 20,000 projects for over 1400 clients in 45 states. She is also active in the engineering consulting industry, having served as a Vice Chair on board of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), as well as on the board of the Engineering Change Lab – US.
