Krista Muhr’s comprehensive experience in global capital markets and stakeholder relations, coupled with her expertise in ESG matters, qualify her to serve on public or private boards and add value to Audit, Compensation, Governance and Sustainability Committees.
Krista Muhr is an experienced corporate board member and has been an advisor to both corporate and trade association boards during her 10 years in executive leadership roles. Throughout her 20+ year career in global metals and mining, Krista has led award winning investor relations programs, been a key team leader in both friendly and hostile acquisitions totaling $7B, and participated in bought-deal financings worth over $320M. Her professional experience also includes launching Canada’s first Palladium bullion coin with the Royal Canadian Mint.
Most recently as Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Sustainability for a mid-tier gold and base metals producer headquartered in Canada, Krista served as a key member of the executive team and was charged with formulating and executing the global strategic stakeholder communications and sustainability initiatives consistent with the overall corporate strategy. Krista led one integrated team, including investor relations, communications, government relations and sustainability. While in this role, Krista also served as the corporate representative on various board memberships, including the Mining Association of Canada and the Canadian Mining Innovation Council.
