Kathy Chiu is a founder and managing partner of DeepWork Capital, an early venture capital firm. She is an experienced board member who has been on 6 corporate boards. As investor and board member of portfolio companies, she frequently advises CEO and management teams on strategic matters including go-to-market, scaling, strategic transactions, and capitalization.
She was on the board that took a life science portfolio company IPO (Nasdaq: HCWB). As independent director and audit committee member in a billion-dollar private company in the retail industry, she brought our-of-box innovation context in addition to regular oversight duty. Kathy has 10 years of venture capital plus 15 years corporate executive experience. She has an Electrical Engineering BS and MS degrees from MIT (1995) and MBA degree from Stanford (2000).
