Carol Ann is an accomplished executive who has grown 2 companies from infancy to $50-100M in annual revenue and has had profit/loss (P&L) leadership responsibilities for business portfolios as large as $120M and 1,200 employees in 12 states. As President, she was responsible for strategy development, new business growth, operational excellence and improvement. Her government customers included the US Army, US Air Force, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Carol Ann was hand-selected to develop and implement a Program Management Excellence initiative for a $1.4B enterprise. She turned the CEO’s vision into over-arching goals and implemented an impactful program in 18 months to elevate the organization’s contract management.

Carol Ann has 5 years significant engagement on charter school and building corporation boards, including 3 years as Governance Committee Chair. Her major board accomplishments include the purchase and expansion of a school facility, review and update of the board’s policy manual, and creation of a formal recruitment and new director training process. Additionally, Carol Ann served on the board for a mental health start-up and on the advisory board for two technology companies. As a former company President, she is experienced at providing operational updates to large company Boards.

Recognized as a leader who is quick to get meaningful results and an operational problem solver, her achievements include the turn-around of a $350M, 5-year contract from operating 17% over budget to achieve 12.5% profit within 5 months and the award of the first contract within 4 months of hire at a fledgling company. Carol Ann’s strengths include the ability to collaborate at all levels of an organization, quick execution, and experience in leading, motivating and growing personnel for delivery and succession planning. She is accomplished in leading large teams through mergers, acquisitions and significant reorganizations, including the purchase of MRJ by Veridian and Veridian by General Dynamics, as well as two significant NANA Development Corporation reorganizations to ultimately consolidate four holding companies into a single federal-focused holding company.

Carol Ann has her board certification from Corporate Directors International LLC, USA. Her designation, CDI.D, recognizes her as a qualified corporate board candidate for a public or private board.
