Ani Markova is an experienced independent director having served on three public company board of directors. Focused on business resilience, her insights to capital allocation, climate impacts and risk management, as well as her leadership skills qualify her to serve on private and public boards. As Chair of two Sustainability Committees, she integrates sustainability factors in strategic decisions and oversight.


Ani Markova is an investment professional, sustainability advocate and independent director of public companies. With over 25 years of experience in the capital markets, including a successful investment career as an award-winning portfolio manager, she has a proven track record in integrating macroeconomic trends, equity analysis, and non-financial performance factors into strategic capital allocations and risk management. As an independent board member of three resource companies, she has taken on board leadership roles, including chairing sustainability committees and serving on audit, compensation, nominating and governance committees. She is focused on corporate oversight for building business resilience in diverse jurisdictions with complex socio-economic characteristics. Leveraging her expertise in finance, capital allocation, macroeconomics and commodity cycles, Ms. Markova is committed to assisting businesses in transitioning to a decarbonized and sustainable future following a balanced multi-stakeholder approach.

Ani Markova is the CEO of Investor View Advisory, which has a purpose of assisting companies with their strategic decisions for better alignment with investors’ interests. She is also a Co-Founder of Onyen Corporation, an innovative business risk reporting solution for public and private companies, and is currently focused on business development for the organization.

Ms. Markova holds an MBA from George Washington University in Washington DC, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Canadian Investment Management (CIM), Corporate Board International (CDI.D), Competent Bards (GCB.D) and Climate and Biodiversity (CCB.D) designations.
