Calgary, AB, Canada May, 2021 –International Petroleum announces Emily Moore appointed to Board of Directors.
International Petroleum Corporation (IPC or the Corporation) (TSX, Nasdaq Stockholm: IPCO) is pleased to announce the voting results from the Corporation’s 2021 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on May 4, 2021 in Calgary, Alberta. The number of Directors of the Corporation was set at seven. Including Emily Moore.
Emily Moore has been a Director of IPC since 2021. Chair of the Reserves and Sustainability Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee.
Dr. Emily Moore graduated from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, where she obtained a degree in Engineering Chemistry. She then attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, obtaining a doctorate in Physical Chemistry.
Dr. Moore has been Director of Troost Institute for Leadership Education in Engineering at the University of Toronto since October 2018, where she leads teaching, research and programming to help develop the next generation of engineering leaders. Dr. Moore spent 10 years at Hatch Ltd. holding positions including Managing Director, Innovation, and Managing Director, Water. In that time, she led global initiatives to serve mining, energy and infrastructure sector clients. Dr. Moore previously spent more than 10 years at Xerox, leading teams on developing new chemical processes and bringing them to manufacturing scale.
Dr. Moore is considered independent for the purposes of National Instrument 58-101.

Emily Moore is a Rhodes Scholar and professional engineer with extensive experience in new technology development and major capital projects. Emily worked for ten years at Hatch Ltd leading global initiatives to serve mining, energy and infrastructure sector clients. Emily established Hatch’s intellectual property management system and revamped the technology investment process to accelerate product development. She developed Hatch’s international water business into a united, global performer through restructuring and acquisition achieving 100% revenue growth over 5 years. In addition, Emily led the formation of the company’s global Diversity and Inclusion program. Emily was recognized in 2016 on the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining list.
Prior to her time at Hatch, Emily spent more than ten years at Xerox leading teams developing new chemical processes and bringing them to manufacturing scale. Emily is the author of 21 patents and won the Joseph C. Wilson award, the Xerox Innovation Group’s highest honour.
Emily is currently serving as Director of the Troost Institute for Leadership Education in Engineering at the University of Toronto, developing the next generation of engineering leaders. Emily conducts research into how sustainability considerations are informing technology development and engineering decision making.
