Monica Danon-Schaffer
Monica Danon-Schaffer is an ACE LLC Certified Board Candidate who has extensive experience in South and North America with strong leadership skills, team building capabilities, and problem solving abilities. She was the manager and project director for prefeasibility and design of five potable water treatment plants for four communities in close proximity to a gold mine in Mexico. Her industry focus is in mining, oil, and gas.
Monica has also successfully coached performance-based hazard recognition, safety intervention and transformation services to Shell Canada, Albian Sands Heavy Oil Division and Natural Gas Projects. She currently serves on the Environmental Appeal Board (EAB), Province of British Columbia, Canada Oil and Gas Appeal Tribunal Board, Province of British Columbia, and the Canada Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation (CEMF).
Monica notices the disconnect that often exists between boards and constituents and brings a reality check to the boards she serves on.
