As an ACE LLC Certified Board Candidate, Mary McBride is an an independent corporate director, corporate advisor, and senior banking executive with 30+ years of leadership in commercial banking, and experience in profitably expanding the customer base, enhancing credit and risk management, establishing and executing organizational strategy, and working with regulators. She has extensive experience on public, private, and non-profit boards in and around the Denver Metro area.

One thing Mary has discovered through her board work is the importance of networking. She emphasizes, "even before you are interested in seeking board placement, it is important to start building your network of people and gaining knowledge of that network takes time and effort." This is how you plan for the future.

Mary also is highly collaborative, with an analytical mindset, whose strengths include the ability to clarify and articulate complex subjects, build bridges between disparate teams, and build and motivate high-performance teams. In her experience, by talking to others, she has been able to identify what is important to certain boards, and has thoughtfully identified gaps and works to fill those gaps through her board work.

Between her various board duties, Mary also enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking.
