Mafalda has over 25 years of international experience primarily in the mining and mineral exploration sectors in Canada & Peru and 15 years of board experience with a Canadian public mining company and non-profit organizations.

Mafalda Arias is a culture integration expert with over 25 years of international experience primarily in the mining and mineral exploration sectors in Canada & Peru. Mafalda was the President of a Junior Mining Company, assembled an international board of directors and lead the strategic acquisition of mineral exploration properties in Peru. She is a business owner for the past 9 years providing intercultural services to mining companies, colleges, universities, municipalities, consulting and software companies.

Mafalda has 15 years of board experience with a Canadian public junior exploration and non-profit organizations. Since 2018 she serves on the board of the Social Practice Forum, a non-profit organization with a vision that business, civil society, communities and government can collectively transform natural resource endowments to create enduring, positive social and economic outcomes that are satisfactory to all.

Mafalda is an intercultural strategist, an expert in the culture of the mining target country Peru where she established key relationships to build trust and successfully advanced projects. She is the recipient of the Diversity and Inclusion Award 2019 from the Canadian Institute of Mining.

Mafalda has her board certification from Corporate Directors International LLC, USA. Her designation, CDI.D, recognizes her as a qualified corporate board candidate for a public or private board.
