"Attending Ace Women on Board training helped me articulate my value proposition effectively and gain confidence that my background and experience qualifies me to serve on a public board."

~ Kimberly Eckert

"Watching Kim in action in the boardroom was a delight and eye-opening. What I am talking about is that when we did our Board Role Play exercise (during the ACE Board Training), Kim took her role very seriously, and without giving too much away, proposed a resolution to the board which was the one everyone wanted to say out loud, but were too afraid to , i.e., "We need to do something about the CEO". In real life, in real board rooms, these topics are tough ones to deal with yet they become necessary in certain situations. Kim showed her willingness to deal with the tough issues and proposed solutions to help move the conversation forward in the board room. Clearly she has strong leadership talent.

Kim grew up in Montanta and made her way to Wall Street during her career. She is a graduate of Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, worked as an investment banker on Wall Street for a major firm (VP Natural Resources, Metals & Mining), had some corporate jobs in mining and energy and currently runs her own business - in the food sector. She is qualified to sit on boards in a variety of sectors and promises to bring strategic thinking, positive enforcement and broad experience to the company board she lands on.

I am excited to see which company boards she is appointed to. Kimberly Eckert’s extensive experience in corporate finance and strategy qualifies her to serve on a public board, particularly an audit committee or special committees related to financings and M&A activity."
