Flossie O'Leary

Flossie O’Leary’s extensive experience leading and advising boards, increasing revenue and capital funding, and leading partnerships and organizations across all three sectors make her a valuable asset for a corporate board.

An experienced board director, Flossie O’Leary currently serves on one credit union and three nonprofit boards. Her Audit Committee and Asset & Liability Management Committee experience sharpened her acumen for financial risks and opportunities, internal audits, compliance and evaluating merger opportunities. Leading the Nominations Committee and Chairing two nonprofit boards increased her ability to uncover different viewpoints while validating them that has resulted in more strategic decisions as well as effectively align vision, strategy and purpose with internal and external stakeholders.

Flossie’s experience working in and with private companies, higher education, health care, government and consumers gives her a unique viewpoint. She’s refined this to be a “translator” among the sectors, building public-private partnerships, engaging interdependent stakeholder groups with conflicting agendas, securing capital for cross-sector projects, and exceeding revenue and business development goals.  Flossie holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL), is a Certified Credit Union Board Member (CCUB), and has visited all 50 U.S. states and 20 countries.

Flossie has her board certification from Corporate Directors International LLC, USA. Her designation, CDI.D, recognizes her as a qualified corporate board candidate for a public or private board.

"ACE took my board experience on a credit union and nonprofit boards to a whole new level. The training is real world, application-oriented, that combines Michele's experience, amazing guest speakers, and activities to practice and refine. Best of all is the Network Michele has created among alumnae and with industry leaders in need of qualified female candidates."
