Dr. Cameron Goodwin’s extensive leadership background, both in the military and commercially, allows her to bring a unique perspective and her varied skills to any public board.

Dr. Cameron Goodwin is the director of Rhode Island’s nuclear reactor and leading scientist with over 20+ years of leadership experience in the Nuclear Sector. As a Naval Academy graduate and Naval Officer, she has experience on both conventional and nuclear platforms. She is an accomplished leader in the nuclear community and a champion for the safe and reliable uses of nuclear science to support energy production, medical treatments, and general research. As only the second woman to be the Director of a U.S. nuclear facility, she is a steward for the promotion of STEM with young women.

 Dr. Goodwin is a leader in development of regulation direction for fusion facilities both domestically and internationally, including influencing the direction of fusion regulations in Germany. She is among a select group of directors, selected to audit other facilities for compliance.
