Betsy Cosper
Betsy Cosper is an CDI (Corporate DIrectors Int'l) Certified Board Candidate, ACE Graduate and currently sits on Halton Hills Library Board of Directors in Ontario, Canada. Ms. Cosper is also involved in the Women in Food Industry Management association. In addition, Betsy leads the marketing strategy and Canadian branch for, The Blue Dream Project, a non-profit organization for ocean conservation.
Over the past 2 decades, Betsy has worked for global manufacturers in both business to business and consumer packaged goods industries. Her main areas of focus have been strategy and marketing.
Ms. Cosper is best known as a "builder" of companies with proven outcomes from working with businesses; transforming and laying the groundwork for strategic expansion. She most recently has been focused in the building materials industry and going beyond building code with energy efficiency to deliver better living and working spaces.
In seeking board placement, Ms. Cosper strongly believes that, "Diversification of a board whether it be industry expertise, experience, education or gender all play a role in delivering the best outcome for shareholders.”
Betsy has always had a passion for food and possesses both a food science and a culinary arts degree. In her free time she enjoy cooking and using fresh honey, from her beehives, in her creations.
